Talk by Steve Swenson, President American Alpine Club on 9th February

Steve Swenson will speak on his significant climbs in the Karakoram and Himalaya over the past 30 years. He will cover the following amongst his remarks:
NE face of Kwangde
North ridge of K2
Kanshung face attempt and then successful solo ascent of N/NE ridge of Everest without supplementary oxygen
First ascent of Kapura Peak and other ascents in the Charakusa Valley
Mazeno Ridge on Nanga Parbat
SW face of Latok II
