Lets ascent the toughest forts of Shayadri... Alang & Madan treks are considered to be the most toughest and difficult treks in Shayadri as this trek tests your stamina, patience and mental toughness. The overall trek includes rock climbing, rappelling, high steeps traverse, long walks and what not....   Height: Alang- 4852ft - This fort has a huge plateau with caves and water cisterns and trekkers have to climb two technical patches to reach on its summit            Madan -4841ft - This fort too has caves and the route is via exposed traverse and one technical patch. WSR Night Trek to Kalsubai on 13th Feb 2016  ( Valentine Day Special )     WSR Invite you all to Night Trek to Highest peak of Maharashtra "Kalsubai" on 13th & 14th February 2016.   Little info about this trek:- Type: - Hill fort Fort range: - Kalsubai  Grade: - Medium Fees: - 800/-   Kalsubai Peak (Marathi: कळसूबाईशिखर)is the highest peak (1646 meters) of the Sahyadris on the border of Igatpuri Taluka, Nashik district and Akole Taluka, of Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, an Indian state. 'Kalsubai' temple is located at the topmost peak of Sahyadri mountain range of Maharastra. At the summit there is a small flatportion with a small temple of Kalsubai, a local deity. A traditional prayer (pooja) service is held every Tuesday and Thursday by a local priest. Local villagers sell the pooja materials almost all year long, while sending their cows for grazing.  Navratri occasions many stalls are set up near the summit for the pooja materials. During the Navratri period, for all nine days, special poojas are carried out and idol is fully decorated. Special Mela (fair) is organized forNavratri.
