Dear all,

Its my great pleasure to inform you about our next trek (Nature walk + untouched waterfall). After a great response from you all for 1st trek YHAI Goregaon Unit had arranged on 29th June, we would like to invite you to Devala Waterfalls, Igatpuri.

Trek/trail: Devala Waterfalls, Igatpuri
Date: 27th July 08
Report: Goregaon Ratna Hotel, S. V. Road
Time: 6 a.m.
Transport: By Bus from Goregaon Igatpuri and return same day.
Cost: 300 per head.

35 seated bus has arranged by unit for this trail, it will be comfortable transportation to the base village Bauli. From Bauli we will walk 45 mints to waterfall. Devala waterfall is untouched waterfall in Igatpuri, its nice place to visit and also need to visit soon as government is planning to build dam out there so great view is going to change, of course it will be good for people near by to enjoy more water. But we don’t want to miss the chance to see a beautiful nature at its best.

Cost includes bus transportation, morning breakfast tea/coffee and evening tea coffee.

Last date to register: As seats are limited to 35 and we need to pay advance to bus provider we have cut of date of 16th July.

Group more than 5 needs to inform and pay before 14th July.
We will also arrange to change cloths for girls (tent or in bus)

Water level of river and force of waterfall depends upon rain, without permission of leader no one will go into the water even though you are good swimmer, rules are same for everyone.

Things to carry
One pair of extra cloths, One time lunch, Water Bottle, Hunter/Trekking Shoes - must, Cap, Ruck Sack, personal medicine, etc.

Rules & Regulations :

1. No Smoking and Drinking of Alcohol, if found the membership will be canceled.
2. No member will go into the water or under waterfall without leader or co-leader’s permission.
3. Unit is not responsible for whatsoever mishap during its Program at Unit level at well as its State and National level.
4. Confirmation of names for participation is subject to payment of advance wherever stated.
a. On cancellation of participation 7 days before the trek, 50% of the adv fee will be forfeited
b. On cancellation of participation 3 days before the trek, 75% of the adv fee will be forfeited
5. Please do not consider this as a picnic and strictly follow all instructions given by leader, co-leader

Catch the Dadar-Amritsar Express, leaving Dadar Stn. with tickets for Igatpuri. Early morning, proceed to Bhavli village, and from there on to the waterfall. After the fun & frolic, return to Mumbai by 9.00pm.

To get there by road, take the Mumbai-Nashik Highway (NH-3) Igatpuri is at a distance of 120 kms from Mumbai. Igatpuri is well connected by central railway on Mumbai -Delhi Line
